Join the team! Call VICaP today at (520) 459-8146 to ask about becoming a volunteer driver! Volunteering is easy and on your schedule! Our amazing volunteers drive their own personal vehicles to provide transportation to our Neighbors. VICaP does offer mileage reimbursement to help offset the cost of fuel, which is calculated at the end of each month.
Volunteer Orientation usually lasts about an hour with the Executive Director. During this session, you will receive background information about VICaP, an orientation on organization policies, procedures, and best practices, and an overview of the scheduling software we use. You will be given guidebooks for the scheduling software, RideScheduler, and a Volunteer Handbook for your reference.”
