Join the team! Call VICaP today at 520-459-8146 to ask about becoming a volunteer driver. Volunteering is easy and on your schedule. Our amazing volunteers drive their own personal vehicles to provide transportation to our Neighbors. VICaP does offer mileage reimbursement to help offset the cost of fuel, which is calculated at the end of each month.
 

Volunteer Orientation usually lasts about an hour with the Executive Director. During this session, you will receive background information about VICaP, an orientation on organization policies, procedures, and best practices, and an overview of the scheduling software we use. You will be given guidebooks for the scheduling software, RideScheduler, and a Volunteer Handbook for your reference.

VICaP is also a ‘Trusted Transportation Provider with ITN America.’ This partnership allows us to provide older adults and visually-impaired community members with free transportation to eye-care services. This award also recognizes
 

VICaP as offering the highest quality transportation services for seniors. Now is the time to call for a ride. Whether it’s an ophthalmologist appointment, the optometrist, or even just a ride to get prescription eyeglasses, VICaP can get you there.
